Own the car. Skip the hosting.

Renting out your car is a second job: messages at midnight, cleanings between trips, airport handoffs, pricing that never sits still. Our Fort Myers team co-hosts it for you, and you get a monthly statement and a payout.

What a co-host actually does.

A co-host does the work of renting out a car that someone else owns. You keep the vehicle, the title and the say over when it is available. We do everything between the booking and the payout: the listing and photos, the rates, the guest checks, every message, the cleaning between trips, the delivery to the airport or the hotel, and the paperwork if something goes wrong.

Since 2021, SWFL Auto Rentals has completed more than 2,000 rentals across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs and Punta Gorda. We are a local, owner-operated fleet, not a faceless app. Your car is handled by the same team that runs ours, with the same checklists and the same standards.

Who co-hosting is for

Three owners we hear from most.

01 · Hosting and tired of it

You already rent it out. You want your evenings back.

Your car is already listed, the bookings come in, and so do the messages, the late returns and the cleaning runs. Hand the work to a local team and keep the car earning without being on call.

02 · A good car that sits

It costs you money parked in the driveway.

A vehicle that barely moves still costs insurance, registration and depreciation. If it is in good condition, we can list it through us and put it to work while you keep ownership.

03 · Seasonal owners

Heading north? Let it earn while you’re gone.

Florida heat and humidity are hard on batteries, tires and seals when a car isn't driven. Regular use keeps it running properly, and you come back to a vehicle that paid for part of its own ownership costs. Block off the weeks you are here.

What is a car co-host?

A co-host runs the day-to-day work of renting out a car that someone else owns. With SWFL Auto Rentals, that means the listing, pricing, guest screening, messages, cleaning, delivery, turnaround, maintenance coordination and damage claims. You keep the vehicle in your name and receive a monthly statement and payout.

I already rent my car out on a car-sharing app. Can you co-host it?

Yes. Tell us where the car is listed today on the application, and during the review we will explain how we would take over the work and what changes for you. If the car is not listed anywhere yet, we can handle that too.

How much can I earn?

It depends on the vehicle, its condition, the season, and how many days you make it available. Earnings aren't guaranteed, but during your review we'll give you a realistic estimate based on similar vehicles in our fleet.

What's the revenue split?

Once we have received your submission form and completed the review, we will discuss the options with you. The split is defined in your written management agreement before your vehicle is listed.

How is my vehicle insured during rentals?

We'll walk you through exactly what's covered during a trip and what your own policy should cover when the vehicle isn't on a rental.

Can I still use my vehicle?

Yes. Block off any dates you need, and those dates won't be booked.

Who pays for maintenance?

Routine maintenance and major repairs are covered by the vehicle owner. We track oil changes, tires and routine service and keep you informed, and every cost is itemized on your monthly statement.

What if my vehicle is damaged?

We document your vehicle's condition before and after every rental, manage the claim, and coordinate repairs.

Which areas do you co-host in?

We are based in Fort Myers and deliver across Southwest Florida, including Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Sanibel, Punta Gorda and the RSW and Punta Gorda airports. Your car does not need to be in Fort Myers to apply; tell us where it lives.

Can I end the partnership?

Yes. We just request 30 days' written notice, taking effect once any active bookings are finished.
